Wilma Pierson, 70
Hanoverton- Services will be held for Wilma Pierson, 70, of Haessly
Road, who died at 4:23 a. m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 1995, at the Salem
Community Hospital, where she was a patient four days.
She was born in Congo Oct. 25, 1925, a daughter of the late Forrest and
Daisy Mae Louk Baker.
She moved from Summitville to Hanoverton four years ago. She was a
retired employee of TRW Metals in Minerva. She was a Protestant. She was
a member of the Hanoverton Social Club.
Her husband, John C. Pierson, whom she married July 3, 1946, died July
27, 1978. She also was preceded in death by a daughter Janet May
Pierson, and two brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Pat Wickersham of Minerva and Fran
Kenst of Hanoverton; three sons, John "Mike" Pierson of Salineville,
Earl "Denny" Pierson of New Alexandria, and James Pierson of Salem; 23
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Rick Lautzenheiser of the Community Life Fellowship of
Summitville will conduct the services at 2 p.m. at the Kerr-Pastore
Funeral Home of Salineville. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 tonight.
