WILLIAM BOWERS, 50, STRICKEN SUDDENLY

Railroad Employee Dies of Acute Indigestion

William Samuel Bowers, 50, of 1623 Lincoln avenue, Wellsville, a car inspector employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad Co., died suddenly from acute indigestion Monday afternoon while working at Empire.

Mr. Bowers, widely known in railroad circles, had been employed by the company for 27 years.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary Quayle Bowers; one son Lemoine, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Ella Irene Ferguson of Salineville, and the Misses Beulah Mae, Betty Jane and Mary Louise Bowers, at home, and two brothers, George H Bowers of Weirton, W. Va., and Claude M. Bowers of Missouri.

Funeral services will be held in the home Thursday at 2:30 p.m., in charge of Rev. George W. Beck, pastor of the Wellsville Methodist Protestant church. Burial will be made in Spring Hill cemetery.
