WILLIAM MCNEIL

WEIRTON - William McNeil of 3131 West st. died of complications Monday at 4:30 a.m. in Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville. He had been in failing health for three months.

Born May 27, 1880, he was a native of Youngstown, O. He had resided in Weirton since 1910, coming from Lisbon, O. He was married to Blanche McNeil in 1901 in Lisbon.

Mr. McNeil was employed by the maintenance department of Weirton Steel Co. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Weirton.

Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Cora Faye Moore of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lang of Alliance, O., and Mrs. Jean Carey of Salt Lake City, Utah; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Friends may call at the Schwerha Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be in the chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ferman Kearney officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
