William Hanley Of Salineville Succombs at 70
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kerr Funeral Home, Salineville, for William H. Hanley, 70, custodian of Salineville High School.
He died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday (May 16, 1962) at his home, 67 W. Main St. Mr. Hanley had been in failing health and returned Saturday from the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born July 7, 1891, at Salineville, a son of Michael and Cora Bettis Hanley. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Besides his wife, Blanche at home, he leaves a son, Dean of Salineville; a brother, John of Salineville; and one grandchild.
The Rev. Gerald Finnie of the Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight and Friday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
