Obituary - Thomas Heath
East Liverpool Tribune

William G. Heath has arrived here from Long Beach, Cali., bringing with him the details of his father's death at that place October 12, (1903). Mr. Heath was formerly a well known resident of this city, having been employed as foreman in the packing department of one of the potteries. He went to California 15 months ago, and putting aside the cares and worries of life decided to live with his daughters who reside in the west. The gentleman carried out his intention, but became ill after a fishing trip and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry H. Moore. Mr. Heath was a veteran of the Civil War, having been a member of the Twenty-seventh Ohio. He was an earnest Christian, and for many years was a member of the First Presbyterian church of this city. He was 7? Years old, and is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Moore and Miss Elizabeth of Long Beach, and his sons William and Alfred of this city. His death will be deeply regretted by his many old friends in East Liverpool who will never cease to remember him as an honest, conscientious man.
