Thomas C. Conkle, aged 30 years, died Friday night (October 13, 1911) at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Funkhouser, Fifth avenue, College Hill, Beaver, after a three weeks' illness of typhoid fever. Deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary J. Conkle, New Sheffield, Pa., and three sisters, Mrs. Dora Mackall, Georgetown, Pa., Miss Alma at home, and Mrs. Emma Ramsey of New Brighton, Pa. Two brothers, Harry B. at home and W. G. of Gans, Oklahoma, also survive.

Deceased was one of the best known and esteemed young men in his home town. He was a member of Beaver Falls lodge No. 478 F. & A. M., and a lifelong member and worker in the First M. E. church. He has for some time past served as secretary of the Y. M. C. A. and was one of the leading spirits in this institution.
