Mrs. Stella R. Harsha
Mrs. Stella R. Harsha, 93, of Calcutta-Smiths Ferry Road died Wednesday, March 15, 1989, at home following an extended illness.
She was born in Glass, Ohio, April 14, 1895, a daughter of the late Vincent E. Flint and Lilly M. Douglass Flint.
Mrs. Harsha was a member of the Calcutta United Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, E. C. "Curly" Harsha, whom she married Dec. 26, 1914, died March 3, 1977.
Survivors include two sons, James V. Harsha and Thomas R. Harsha of Calcutta; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Ila) Horger of Calcutta; two sisters, Lottie Flint of East Liverpool and Mrs. Kenneth (Luella) Myers of Lakeland, Fla.; six grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The Rev. Dr. George Van Leuven of the church is to conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Martin Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Special Olympics, International Headquarters, 1350 New York Ave. N. W., Washington D. C. 20005.
