OBITUARY
Serada Householder was born in Jefferson county, Feb. 16th, 1845. She was the youngest daughter of Methias and Rebecca Householder. She remained with her parents until Nov. 13, 1864, when she was united in marriage to C. M. Croft, of Williamsport, O. To this union nine children were born, two dying in infancy.
In 1876 she united with the M. E. church of Hammondsville, where she was a faithful member until death of her husband, Feb. 10, 1891, she moved to Wellsville, where she transferred to the M. E. church of that place.
She has been a great sufferer for the last few years, and during her last illness was tenderly cared for by her children. Her faith in her Savior during her suffering was beautiful, she was willing and ready to go whenever she was called. She leaves to mourn her loss seven children, two brothers and one sister, and a host of sorrowing friends.
We loved her, yes, we loved her,
But the angels loved her more,
And they have sweetly called her,
To that blessed golden shore.
