Obituary - Mrs. Sarah Halverstadt

Mrs. Sarah Halverstadt, the estimable wife of H. A. Halverstadt, died at her home in Salem township Wednesday evening (August 9, 1911) after an illness of almost eighteen months. The deceased was born in Salem township and was a daughter of Ex-County Commissioner Samuel Berger, and was one of the best known women in that vicinity where she spent her entire life. She is survived by the husband and six children. Mrs. Cecil Greenheisen, of Salem, Roscoe Halverstadt, of Warren, R. L. Halverstadt, Miss Nina, Miss Lila, and Carl, at home.
Funeral services will be held at the home on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock (sun time) the Rev. Isley, pastor of the Lutheran church officiating.
