Lisbon, Sept 28.-Samuel A. Bricker, prominent hardware merchant in Negley for the past twenty five years died very suddenly at his home there Wednesday (September 27, 1911). For the past tow years he had been in declining health owing to his advanced years, and during recent weeks had been in the habit of arising from his bed about the middle of the forenoon. On Wednesday Mrs. Bricker went to his room a short time before 10 o'clock and he was living but in a short time she returned to find he had expired.

Mr. Bricker was born December 27, 1827. Twenty -five years ago he moved from Darlington, Pa., to Negley, engaging in the hardware business in which he continued actively until a short time ago. He was a veteran of the Civil war and prominently identified with Tullis Post, G.A.R at Rogers. Deceased is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter, F. A. Bricker and Mrs. W. J. Britton, of Negley, W. J. Bricker, of Beaver Falls, Pa., and Addison, of Pittsburg. The funeral services will occur Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of deceased, and interment will be made at East Palestine.
