Mrs. Ruth E. Baker, 60, of 50881 Duke Rd. died Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a week's illness.
A life long resident, Mrs. Baker was born here Feb. 27, 1918, a daughter of Benjamin E. Jones and Anna Mabel Riddle Jones.
She was graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1935.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the former Orchard Grove United Methodist Church and the Vandalia Extension Homemakers Club.
Besides her husband, Kendall W. Baker, whom she married March 22, 1939, survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Charles (Bonnie) Ryan, Mrs. Noble (Diana) Rose of Akron, Mrs. Carl (Nancy) Hadley, Mrs. Edwin (Linda) Morgan and Mrs. Larry (Karen) Gibson, all of East Liverpool, and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the Martin Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and night.
