ROBERT MAXWELL CALLED BY DEATH
At about three o'clock yesterday morning (September 29, 1911) Robert Maxwell, one of the best known men of East End was called by death from a complication of diseases, after a sickness lasting four or five months. Mr. Maxwell was born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 11, 1868. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Maxwell, and is survived by his mother, two brothers, James and William, a foster brother, John all of Glasgow, Scotland and three children, Robert, James, and Martha of East End.
Mr. Maxwell was a kiln-placer and was identified with athletics, having been a foot racer and taken part in a number of such events in and around East End.
Funeral Services will be held from the late home Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. L. B. Lewellyn of the Second Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery.
