Bailey, Raymond Lamont, 82, of RD 2, New Cumberland, died Tuesday (October 24, 1972) at Weirton General Hospital. He was born in Crow's Run, PA, June 4, 1890. He was a retired miner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Florence Holsinger Bailey in 1962. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Edith Brancazio and Mrs. Rudy (Delores) Rosnick, both of Weirton, Mrs. Lillian Nixon of Toronto, Mrs. Thomas (Rose) Lemasters of New Cumberland Heights and Mrs. Wayne (Donna) Burbirdge of Windham, OH; five sons, Raymond Jr., of Mingo Junction, John and Eugene, both of New Cumberland and Eddie and Kenneth, both of Weirton; one brother, John of Chester; 34 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Friends received at Turley Funeral Home, New Cumberland, 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. George Stewart officiating. Interment in New Cumberland Cemetery.
