Word was received in Wellsville last night (March 23, 1911) of the death of Mrs. Romana Stanley, at the home of her son, Harry Blackburn, in Ravenswood, W. Va., due to grip fever and pleurisy. She was 81 years of age. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Anna Rudding of Williamsport, Pa.; W. S. and Harry A. Blackburn, of Ravenswood; J. B. Blackburn of Wood street, Wellsville. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Stephen, Henry and Garret Dever of the west; Mrs. Sadie Dever, of Wilmerding, Pa.; Mrs. Nancy Carter and Mrs. Lida Aten, of Wellsville. She was the grandmother of F. C. Blackburn, of Clark avenue, Wellsville. A lifelong member of the First M. E. church of Ravenswood, she was held in high esteem as a noble Christian woman. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning from the home of her son, Harry, in Ravenswood. Burial will be made in Cottageville, W.Va. ( b. January 17, 1830)
