Ralph O Buchanan
Ralph O Buchana, 57, of Dresden Ave., died at 12:10 a.m. today at
Veterans Administration Hospital at Oakland, Pittsburgh, after a four
year illness.
He was born May 30, 1927 in Carmichaels, PA, a son of the
late Charles Van Buren Buchanan and Naomi Pierson Buchanan. He had
resided most of his life in East Liverpool. Mr. Buchanan was a carpenter
for many years last working for the Lee Cain Fence Company. He was a
World War II U. S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth
Johnson Bucahan, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Polly Bolles and Miss
Barbara Buchanan, both of Coshocton, Ohio, one stepdaughter, Mrs.
Shirley Kent of Cleveland, two stepsons, Sterling Sanford of Celveland
and William Stansbury of Sweet, LA.; two sisters, Mrs. Jesse (Helen)
Reynolds of East Liverpool and Mrs. Alonzo (Pauline) Brown of Florida;
two brothers, Clifford Buchanan of California and James Buchanan of East
Liverpool, three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Services are
to be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may
call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon and evening. Burial will be
in Riverview Cemetery.
