Mrs. Pearl Hale, 56, died suddenly Wednesday (December 27, 1961) at 12:30 p.m. following a heart attack at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Shannon, 5 Carnegie Drive, Midland.

Mrs. Hale had resided with her sister about 11 months. She was born Feb. 21, 1905, in Tyler County, W. Va.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Hale of Fairmont, W. Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Lister of Elkins, W. Va.; three brothers, Gail Johnson of Midland, John Johnson of East Liverpool, and T.O. Johnson of Sistersville; three other sisters, Mrs. Nellie Adams of Parkersburg, Mrs. Mary Cummings of Waynesburg, Pa., and Mrs. Vashta Wells of Lawrenceville, Ill., and four grandchildren.

The body was transferred this morning from the Cannon Funeral Home at Midland to the R. C. Jones Funeral Home in Fairmont, where services will be held Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens at Morgantown.
