Paul Melhorn
Salineville - Paul A. Melhorn of West End, a retired coal miner, died at City Hospital today (July 4, 1956) at 5:25 a. m. following a brief illness. He was 67.
Mr. Melhorn was born here March 31, 1889, a son of the late Paul Melhorn and Mrs. Lena Melhorn, who survives at Hallendale, Fla. He resided in the vicinity his entire life. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Besides his mother, survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Melhorn at home; a daughter, Mrs. John Beadle of Salineville; three sisters, Mrs. Flora Mundy of Salineville, Mrs. Gertrude Mee of Canton, and Mrs. Pauline Henderson of Hallendale; four brothers, Ernest Melhorn and Alfred Melhorn, both of Canton, Walter Melhorn of Akron, and Homer Melhorn of Massillon, and a granddaughter.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Kerr Funeral Home by the Rev. Wayne Hall. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and night and any time on Monday.
