Paul L Shuman
Paul L Shuman, 61, of St. George St., a retired steel firm worker, died
at 11:25 am Friday at City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was
born along the Narrows between Chester and Newell 21 Jan 1923, a son of
William Shuman and Elizabeth Willison Shuman.
Mr. Shuman was a
locomotive repairman at the former Crucible Steel Co., retiring in 1978,
and was a member of Local 1212 of the United Steelworkers. He served
with the Army Medical Corps., in Germany during World War II and was a
member of Grace United Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife
Stella Woodward Shuman, whom he married January 20, 1947, two sons and
two daughters, Forrest L Shuman, Allen B, Shuman, Mrs. James (Sherry)
Smith and Mrs. James (Patricia) Wright, all of East Liverpool and five
grandchildren.
Services are scheduled at 10:30 am Monday from the
Martins Funeral home Rev. Harwell Duncan of the church officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
