Obituary - Orian McKenzie

Orian B. (Sam) McKenzie, 214 Cherry Alley, a retired engineer for the Potters Supply Co., died Sunday at 3:45 p.m. a the Valley Manor Nursing Home at New Philadelphia after a long illness. He was 82.
Mr. McKenzie was born in New Matamoras to the late Henry O. McKenzie and Sara J. Mountz McKenzie. He lived here virtually all his life.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen McKenzie, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Briggs of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Margaret Hanna of Granada Hills, Calif.; two brothers, Fulton McKenzie and Eliza McKinzie, both of East Liverpool, nine grandchildren and sever great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. Albert Rodenhausen of the First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Calcutta Cemetery
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday.
