Death Claims Woman At 81
Mrs. Myrtle C. Beaver, 81, who resided with a son, Edgar Beaver, 854 State St., died at City Hospital Friday at 5:10 p.m. after a month's illness.
She worked as a brusher for 20 years at the former Smith & Phillips Pottery. Born in Mason County, W.Va., March 22, 1879, she was the widow of Raymond Beaver.
Survivors include another son, Gilbert Beaver, also of East Liverpool, and 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. C. Howard Canon of the Oakland Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
