Mrs. Susan Mick, aged 77, died at her home on the
Lisbon road about four and one-half miles from
Wellsville Saturday(9,Mar,1912). She had been in ill
health for the past two years as the result of a
stroke of paralysis. Death was due to pneumonia. She
has been a resident of the Scotch settlement for about
fifty years and was highly esteemed. She was a member
of the Yellow Creek Presbyterian church. She is
survived by the following children: Thomas, at home;
John and Marion of near this city, Hammond, of Fourth
street, and Mrs. Lizzie Boyce, of Salineville road.
Funeral services will be held today at eleven
o'clock sun time from Yellow Creek Presbyterian
church, Rev. Mr. Sanders officiating. Burial will be
made in the church yard cemetery.
Note: Susan(nah) was b.17,Sept,1835 in Hancock Co. WV
the d/o Richard Fowler & Elizabeth Baker. She married
Samuel Mick the 13,Aug,1863 in Hancock Co. WV by John
Cowl. Samuel Mick was b. 24,Feb,1831 in Hancock Co.
WV the s/o Andrew Mick & Anne E. Brown.
