Mrs. Joseph Simpson, aged 61, residing at 117 Ambrose avenue, died yesterday morning (March 17, 1912) at 11:00 o'clock.

She was born in Burslem, England, in 1851, and moved to this country in 1886, coming direct to East Liverpool, where she has resided ever since. She was a woman of sterling quality and always active in the church, being a member of the St. Stephen's church. She was always noted for her kind and loving ways.

She is survived by a husband and four sons. Joseph, Jr., of New York; Fred, of Canonsburg, Pa.; Walter and George of this city. Two sisters, Mrs. Elias Sherwood and Mrs. M. Shaw and three brothers, William, George and Samuel Mayer, all of this city.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the St. Stephen's church at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Kell officiating. Interment in the Riverview cemetery. The remains may be viewed at the home of Mrs. M. Shaw, 1001 Ambrose avenue, from 7 to 10 o'clock this evening.
