AGED LADY IS CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Ben Smith Lifelong Resident Answers Final Summons.
Mrs. Ben Smith aged 65 years, and a life long resident of the city, died at 9:454 o'clock last night (September 20, 1911) at her home on Jefferson Square.
She leaves to mourn three daughters, Miss Inez and Mrs. John Evans, both of this city, and Mrs. Frank Fife of Lisbon. A complication of diseases of nine-weeks duration was the cause of death. Mrs. Smith was born and raised here and was an estimable Christianlike lady, was well known throughout the city. Her husband died over seven years ago. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
