Obituary - Miss Olive Stewart
East Liverpool Tribune

Miss Olive Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stewart, of Beaver, Pa., died at the home of her parents Saturday evening (September 19, 1903), at 6 o'clock, after a very short illness from appendicitis.

A sad feature of the death of the young lady was that in order to save her life an operation was decided as necessary Saturday. When the physicians cut into where the trouble was they found that blood poison had already developed. There was nothing else to do than desist, and await the sure death which was soon to come.

Miss Stewart was a very bright girl of about fourteen years of age. Mrs. C. D., Thompson, of this city, a relative, went to Beaver Sunday morning and returned in the evening. The sorrow stricken family are heartbroken over the loss of a dear member of their home, who was in the enjoyment of a happy girl life, like a bud just opening into a pretty flower. Funeral at 3 o'clock this afternoon form her late home in Beaver. A number of relatives and friends from this city will go up to the funeral today.
