James McMillan
Salineville, Oct. 1. - James McMillen, an aged citizen, died at the home of his daughters Mrs. Frank Herrington, near Augusta, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. The deceased has been afflicted with a cancerous growth on his face for several yeas, and which ultimately caused his death. At the time of his death he was about 70 years old. He has lived in this city for a number of years, and followed mining ever since he came to this town. He has lived a life of retirement for the past eight years. His wife, Mrs. Jane McMillan, died last spring. The following children mourn his loss: Mrs. Mary Earl, Thomas McMillen, of Harlem Srpings; William McMillen, David McMillen, John McMillen and Mrs. Nancy Herrington. The funeral service will take place at the home of his daughter, Thursday morning. Interment at Woodlawn cemetery.
