Obituary - Mrs. Mary W. Bricker

Mrs. Mary Bricker, wife of William A. Bricker, passed peacefully away in death at 12:30 o'clock Wednesday night (August 30, 1911) after many months of patient suffering. Something over two and a half years ago Mrs. Bricker's health first began to fail and her illness gradually developed into tuberculosis. Everything that medical science could suggest was done in the efforts of friends to stay the progress of the disease, but without avail.
The deceased was born south of Lisbon, March 26, 1870, and was a daughter of Jonathan and Susanna Wormn. On October 8, 1903, she was united marriage with William Bricker and six years ago moved to Lisbon. Mr. Bricker being engaged as a rural mail carrier out of this city. She is survived by her husband and one son, aged 5 years, in the home; her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Solomon Halverstadt and Mrs. S. P. Bailey, and one brother, Jacob Worma?, all of whom reside south of Lisbon. Deceased was a member of the St. Jacob's Reformed church for many years. On Saturday morning short funeral services will be held at the home and at 10 o'clock, standard time, services will be held at the St. Jacob's church, the Rev. G. W. Beaver officiating. Interment will be made in the cemetery there.
