Mrs. Mary Beatty
Mrs. Mary I Beatty, 69, of 16874 Lisbon St., died today at 7:55 a.m. in the Extended Care Center following an illness of a year.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Beatty was born April 10, 1912, in Salineville, a daughter of Charles C. Thompson and Mary S. Smith Thompson.
She retired as a waredresser from the Home Laughlin China Co. in Newell, and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Terry (Cleonus) Booth, and Mrs. Loxis (Jean) Booth, both of East Liverpool; five sons, Charles E. Beatty, Francis A. Beatty and G. Michael Beatty, all of Cincinnati, and Robert W. Beatty of Melbourne, Kan., and Floyd L. Beatty of California; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Frances) Gary and Mrs. Richard (Florence) Melvin, both of Cleveland; a brother, Raymond C. Thompson of Lisbon; 27 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial has been scheduled Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Aloysius Church.
Burial is to be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Rogers.
Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home Friday afternoon and night.
