DEATHS OF A DAY
Mrs. Mary Fowler
Mrs. Mary Fowler, who was stricken with paralysis
at the home of her son, Charles Fowler, of Sixth
Street, Friday morning lingered until a few minutes
past 11 o'clock, Saturday evening and then passed
away.
Deceased suffered greatly. She never spoke after
being stricken down.
Three years ago, Mrs. Fowler suffered a slight
attack of paralysis, which was followed by another
about a year since. Prior to the final stroke, though
an invalid, Mrs. Fowler was able to help herself.
Deceased was 66 years old, and was born in
Hancock county, W. Va. The greater portion of her
life was spent in this section. Her husband has been
dead more than two decades.
Six children are
left--Charles,Samuel,Zadoc,Belle,Mrs. Sarah Paully and
Mrs. Maria Weaver. The latter named lady resides in
Covington,Ky.; the other members of the family live
in East Liverpool.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev.
Hastings, of Toronto, at the late home at Avondale and
Minerva streets, to-morrow afternoon at 1 o'clock.
Mrs. Fowler was a member of the M.E. church.
Deceased was held in high esteem by all who knew her.
Interment will be in Spring Grove cemetery.
