Mrs. Margaret Moore
Mrs. Margaret Moore, aged about 68 years, wife of John Moore, of Hookstown, Pa., was called to answer the summons of death at the late home in Hookstown at 6 o'clock last evening. Death followed a several months' illness and was directly due to apoplexy. Deceased has been practically a lifelong resident of the vicinity in which she died. She was held in the highest of esteem and respect by those with whom she was acquainted and to whom the news of her death will come as a severe shock. She was a prominent church member and an earnest Christian worker.
Besides her husband deceased is survived by two sons and two daughters: Elmer McIntyre of Columbus, Paul Moore of Hookstown, Miss Maggie McIntyre of Pittsburg, and Mrs. Emmet Moore of Hookstown.
No arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral.
