AGED WOMAN DIES IN EAST PALESTINE
Lisbon, Dec. 21-Mrs. Margaret Hartford, of Achor, died at the home of her son, Dr. P. C. Hartford, at East Palestine, Wednesday afternoon (December 20, 1911), of the infirmities of old age. She was the widow of the late David P. Hartford, whose death occurred on the old home farm about thirty years ago. Mrs. Hartford has all of her life lived in the vicinity of Achor, and for the past 50 years has been a member of the Baptist church in that village.
She is survived by eight sons and one daughter, Dr. P. C. Hartford and James, of East Palestine; Henry , of Achor; John, of Sebring; Attorney Bert Hartford, of Beaver, Pa.; William, who resides on the old home farm, and Charles and Samuel, who reside in the west, and Miss Esther Hartford, a teacher in the East Palestine schools. The funeral occur from the farm home, near Achor, Friday morning at 11 o'clock, the Rev. E. C. Shuman, of Lorain, a former pastor of the Achor church, officiating.
