Lisbon, Nov.27-Kenneth McLennen, a highly respected resident of Lisbon, died at his home on West Washington street at 8 o'clock Saturday morning ( November 25, 1911) following a long illness. More than a year ago Mr. McLennen fell breaking his leg just below the hip, and owing to his physical condition the physicians was unable to set the bone, and since that time he has been confined to his bed. Deceased was a son of the late Kenneth and Janet McLennen, and was born near Hghlandtown, Washington township, June 2, 1822. When he was but mine months old his parents moved into Jefferson county, where the deceased spent his entire life until ten years ago, when he came to this city to make his home. He was twice married, first with Miss angeline Cosper, and of this marriage ten children were born, eight of whom survive. Some time after the death of his first wife he was again united in marriage with Miss Mary Jane Peterson, whose death occurred in Jefferson county. Of this union two children were born, Mrs. Bertha Binsley and Miss Florence McLennen, both of this city, the latter making her home with her father.
