Obituary - John A. Garner

John A. Garner, aged 68 years, and a liflong resident of this city, was called by death at this home, 434 College street at 2:45 o'clock this morning (October 2, 1911), following but a several hours illness. Deceased has been in failing health since last May, but was only taken suddenly ill at 5:00 o'clock last evening. Although a potter by trade Mr. Garner for some time past has been caretaker at the Masonic temple. He has been a member of the St. Stephen's Episcopal church for the past 55 years.
Besides his wife, deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward Devon, of this city.
