GERALD F. SPRINGER, 45, Was Hurt in Aug. 30 Mishap
Gerald F. Springer of Ferry Road, Chester,
who was injured Aug. 30, when thrown from
his truck, died today at 6:50 am at his home.
He was 45.
Operator of a Transfer Business in Chester,
he was turning into Ferry Rd. when he was
thrown or fell from the cab and the rear wheels
of the truck passed over his body. He received a fractured pelvis and other injures.
He was taken to City Hospital and returned to
his home last Thursday.
He was a member of the Jiggerman's Local.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Audrey Simmons Springer; 2 sons,
Howard Dale Springer of Chester and David Allen Springer of Chester; 2 daughters,
Miss Geraldine Frances Springer of Pomona, Calif. and Miss Beverly Dean Springer of Chester;
3 brothers, Philip D. Springer of Lisbon, Ray Springer of East Liverpool and William S. Springer of East Liverpool; 2 sisters, Mrs. Martha Lee Lindsey of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Elizabeth Storer of Cleveland.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at the Martin Funeral Home by Evangelist Tom Butterfield.
Burial will be in the Columbiana County Memorial Park.
