George Murray Dies

George, the 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Murray, died at 9:45 (January 1,1906) last night from the effect of the burns received early Saturday morning while playing with a wax candle used in decorating a Christmas tree, and which was given to him by the child of a neighbor. The little fellow was frightfully burned about the right side, face, neck, and hands. The time of the funeral will be announced tomorrow.

MURRAY FUNERAL

Will Be Held From the Family Residence Tomorrow

The funeral of George, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. James Murray, who died Monday evening (January 1, 1906) from the effects of burns sustained Saturday morning while playing with a wax candle, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow from the family residence. The Rev. J. W. Dunbar, pastor of the First Presbyterian church will officiate. Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery, East Liverpool.

Besides his parents the deceased is survived by two brothers and two sisters, John, Beatrice, Lydia, and James. Had the little fellow lived, he would have been 5 years old tomorrow.

LAID TO REST

Large Attendance at the Funeral of George Murray.

There was a large attendance of friends at the funeral of George, the five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Murray, held at 11 a.m. yesterday from the family residence. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. W. Dunbar, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, the choir of which rendered some beautiful music.

There were a number of beautiful floral offerings. Interment was made in Riverview cemetery, East Liverpool. William Marquet, Senator Marshall, Edward Hart, and J. A. McKenzie, of New Cumberland, were among those in attendance at the funeral.
