Services are planned Thursday for George E. Hadgett, 98, of W. Seventh St., East Liverpool, a retired pottery worker, who died a the Ross Nursing Home at 9:45 a. m. Tuesday following a lengthy illness.
He was born in East Liverpool, Feb. 29, 1888, a son of he late Hezekiah Hadgett and Eliza Tasker Hadgett.
Mr. Hadgett had resided in East Liverpool all his life, and had worked at potteries here. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
He is survived at home by his wife, Grace L. Milhoan Hadgett, whom he married Oct. 9, 1921.
The Rev. Paul a. Heckters is to conduct the services at 11 a.m. at the Martin Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Riverview cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tonight.
