Obituary - Frank McGee

Frank McGee died at 6:45 last evening (December 17, 1905) at his home in Beaver street, East End, after an illness of three weeks of typhoid fever. His condition had been critical for several days and the end was not unexpected. He was 23 years old and leaves a wife and one child.
Funeral services will be held at his late residence this evening at 7:30 o'clock, the Rev. N. M. Crowe, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church, officiating. The body will be taken on the 8 o'clock train Tuesday morning to Dresden, O., his former home, for burial. Mr. McGee had been a resident of East End about four years and was employed as a motorman on the East Liverpool and Wellsville Street Railway line. He was respected by the employes and management and was spoken of as a very competent workman. He married a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Herbert, of Maple Tree street, East End, and one child was born of this union. He was a son of Samuel and Laura McGee of Dresden. The parents and three brothers and one sister survive. The remains will be accompanied by the bereaved wife and other relatives today to their final resting place.
Mr. McGee was a member of the Street Railway Men's Union and was also a member of the Pan American court No. 127, Tribe of Ben Hur, East End. The latter body will turn out in a body to the funeral services at the home this evening.
