F. J. Hodill, aged 52 years, died at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon (December 28, 1905) at his home in West Sixth street, from a complication of diseases. He has been in poor health for several months but it was not until the last few days that he had been bedfast. Funeral services were held at the home last evening at 7:30 o'clock, the Rev. J. C. Taggart, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church officiating. The body will be taken to Sharpsburg this morning for burial. He was a former resident of Sharpsburg.

Mr. Hodill came to East Liverpool about four years ago and was employed as chief engineer for the Crockery City Ice company. The brewery workers union, of which he was a member, attended the funeral services. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian church. His wife and three children survive. The children are: Mrs. Edward Windram, John and William Hodill, all of this city.
