DEATH SUMMONS ONLY DAUGHTER
Of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Herbert of Beaver Street After Lengthy Illness
Miss Fay Esther, aged 8 years, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Herbert of Beaver street, answered to the summons of the Master at 10:15 o'clock this morning (May 10, 1911), following a lengthy illness. Deceased was confined to her bed with an attack of typhoid fever for several weeks and seeming improved and was able to be up and about for three weeks, when she suffered a backset. That was two weeks ago and from tat day until the time of her death, she only spoke a few words.
The death is a sad one, taking from a loving father and mother, a ray of sunshine which for eight years had brightened the Herbert home. An only daughter, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral services over the remains will be held from the Second Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, Rev. L. B. Lewellyn, the pastor, officiating. Interment will be made at the Riverview cemetery.
Friends may view the remains at the late home on Beaver street, between the hours of 7 to 10 this evening.
