ESTHER SISCO
SALEM - Esther Sisco, 86465 Aetna St., died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Salem Community Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Sisco was born Oct. 2, 1899 near Valley to William and Orissa Scattergood. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Salem Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star and Knights Templar Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Orrie; a son, Paul Layden of Pompano Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, Marjorie Vincent, and a brother, Galen Scattergood.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Stark Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Nicholas Majer officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Salem.
Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
