Earl A. Baker, 93, of 1045 Avondale St. died Wednesday at 3:35 .m. at the Extended Care Center her following an illness of three months.

A World War I Army veteran, Mr. Baker was born in East Liverpool Nov. 26, 1885, a son of Washington Baker and Aura Marsh Baker.

He was retired as a caster from the Hall China Co.

Mr. Baker was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church and an honorary member of the IBPAW. His wife, Irene Evans Baker, died Sept. 20, 1962.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Alice) Bennett of Wellsville RD 1 and Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Sylvies of East Liverpool; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Dawson Funeral Home by Robert Sylvies, grandson. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and night.
