D.W. HIBBETS CALLED BY DEATH
Passed Away in Los Angeles, Cal.-Body Will Be Brought To Wellsville For Interment.
D. W. Hibbetts, who was born and reared hear West Point in 1847, and who located in Wellsville in 1856, and after attending public schools engaged with his brother, J. S. Hibbetts, in the ice business here, died Thursday morning (April 20, 1911) in Los Angeles, Cal., form grip and asthma. He was unmarried an d is survived by two brothers, Frank of Wellsville, and J. S. Hibbetts of Los Angeles. The remains will be brought to Wellsville for interment in Spring Hill cemetery, arriving Wednesday, accompanied by J. S. Hibbetts.
In 1903 the deceased, accompanied by J. S., attended the World's Exposition at St. Louis, and from there proceeded to California in the hope that the change of climate would result beneficially to D. W., who was a the time a sufferer from asthma.
