Doris L. Beaver, 63
EAST LIVERPOOL---Services are planned Tuesday for Mrs. Doris L Beaver,
63, of Ridgeway Avenue, who died Sunday Nov. 14, 1993, at home after
becoming suddenly ill.
She was born in East Liverpool Feb 7, 1930, a daughter of the late
Harry and Bertha Leona Wheaton Johnston.
Mrs. Beaver lived her lifetime here, and was a manicurist at
Marie’s Hair Care, last working Friday. She graduated from
the Clarke-Gilbert and Silverthorn School of Cosmetology. She was
Catholic by faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Mathes, and her
second husband, Leo Edward Beaver.
She is survived by three sons, Raymond E. Mathes of
Wellsville, James Lee Beaver of Coraopolis, Pa., and Steven E. Beaver,
at home, two daughters, Mrs. John (Carol) Young of Wellsville and Mrs.
William (Patricia) Empfield of Coraopolis; a brother, William R.
Callahan of East Liverpool; a sister, Mrs. William (Helen) Gipson of
San Antonio, Texas, and eight grandchildren.
The Rev. Charles Taylor of the Friendship Gospel Tabernacle is to
conduct the services at 1 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home. Burial is to
be in Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home two hours before the services.
