East Liverpool Tribune
Lisbon, Oct. 6.-William M.. Hostetter received a telegram from the National Soldiers Home at Dayton Friday morning announcing the death of his brother, David C. Hostetter, which occurred at the institution Friday morning (October 6, 1911). The deceased had been an inmate of the National Home for the past twenty year, and until recently had been in splendid health for a man of his years. Death is supposed to have been the result of the infirmities of old age.

He was a soldier of the Civil war, being the first man to enlist in Lisbon when the call was made for the 19th regiment. He later joined the 104th and served in that company until honorably discharged after three years service. Deceased is survived by but one brother, William M. Hostetter, of this city, the last of a family of ten children. Mr. Hostetter will leave for Dayton Saturday morning to convey the body to this city.
