DALE HANNEN
MENTOR, O. – Dale Hannen, 77, of 7297 Culver Blvd., formerly of
Chester, W.Va., died at 10:30 a.m. Friday of an apparent heart attack.
He was born January 18, 1905, near Parkersburg, W. Va., to the late
Monroe L. and Epsie Henrickson Hannen.
Mr. Hannen retired in 1967 from the Chase Bronze and Copper Co. of
Euclid. He was a millwright and had been employed there since leaving
Chester in 1955.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Chester and the IAM
Union.
Survivors include his wife, Olive Glendenning Hannen, whom he married
in 1928 in Chester; two sons, Jack Hannen of Twinsburg, and Donald
Hannen of Mentor; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Alma Jane) Arnott of
Mentor; three brothers, Guy Hannen of Minerva, Lew Hannen of North
Carolina and Walter Henrickson of Florida, and six grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
Services are to be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Arner Funeral
Chapel in Chester with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.
Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel Sunday afternoon and evening.
