Mrs. Cordelia E. Hood
Mrs. Cordelia E. Hood, 1100 St. George St., a retired potter, died Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at City Hospital after a brief illness. She was 71.
Mrs. Hood was born here March 30, 1893, to the late Washington Baker and Aura V. Marsh Baker. She worked last at the Acme Craft Ware in Wellsville. Her husband, Herbert E. Hood, died Nov. 13, 1959.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruth McDevitt of Wellsville, and two brothers, Earl A. Baker of East Liverpool and Taylor S. Baker of Akron.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home by Dr. A. K. Davison, pastor of he First United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
