Charles Howell

Charles E. Howell, 71, of 1813 Idaho Ave. died this morning (April 11, 1983) in City Hospital at 12:15 following a week's illness.

A World War II Army veteran and lifelong area resident, Mr. Howell was born here Oct. 4, 1911, a son of John Howell and Euphamie Ellen Seevers Howell.

He was a kiln placer at the former Taylor Smith and Taylor China Co. in Chester.

Mr. Howell was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 66. Besides his wife, Mrs. Rhea L. Howell of East Liverpool, survivors include three daughters, Mrs. James (Eleanor) Board of Walterboro, S.C., Mrs. Dale (Lois) Kidd and Mrs. James (Roxie) Harsha, both of East Liverpool; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services are to be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home by Pastor Andrew Wiegand of the First Church of Christ (Disciples).

Burial is to be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
