CHARLES C. THOMPSON
Charles C. Thompson, 87, of the Y. & O. Rd., Wellsville, a retired potter, died this morning at 9:20 at City Hospital after a lingering illness.
He was born in Fredericktown Aug. 11, 1885, a son of George and Mary Beckstol Thompson. He had resided here his lifetime and retired in 1952 as a caster at the Hall China Co. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. His wife, Mrs. Mary S. Thompson, died in 1967.
Survivors include a son, Raymond D. Thompson of Lisbon; three daughters, Mrs. Frances V. Garey of Lakewood, Ohio, Mrs. Florence A. Melvin of Cleveland and Mrs. Mary I. Beatty of East Liverpool; a brother, Harry A. Thompson of East Liverpool, 19 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
