Mrs. Carrie Sells Clapsaddle, 57, of 412 Burrows Ave., died Saturday (July 31, 1954) at 9:30 p.m. in City Hospital following several months' illness.

Mrs. Clapsaddle was the widow of Howard F. Clapsaddle. She had lived in East Liverpool for 42 years and was a member of the Emmanual Presbyterian Church.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Howard Treleven and Mrs. Merle Wassum, both of East Liverpool; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Baker and Mrs. Paul Pugh, both of East Liverpool, Mrs. John Shannon of Midland and Mrs. Roy Hale of Fairmont; two brothers, John L. Johnson and Gale Johnson of East Liverpool; three half-sisters, Mrs. Sant Wells of Lawrenceville, Ill., Mrs. Ray Cummings of Waynesburg, Pa., and Mrs. Hugh Adams of Charleston; a half-brother, T. O. Johnson of Sistersville, W. Va.; and three grandchildren.

Rites will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. T. Victor Scott of the Emmanual Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
