Death Claims Woman At 66
Mrs. Bertha May Hughes, 1822 Buckeye Ave., Wellsville, widow of Boyd Hughes, died Saturday at 11:25 p.m. at Osteopathic Hospital, where she had been a patient since Aug 13. She was 66.
She was born in Dillonvale, April 13, 1894, daughter of the late Benjamin Millhoan and Sarah Deyarmon Milhoan. She lived in East Liverpool for several years before moving to Wellsville 27 years ago. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Her husband died Nov. 16, 1959.
She is survived by two sons, Benjamin Lee Hughes of East Liverpool R. D. and Harry Lee Hughes of Williamsburg, Va.,; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Hadgett and Mrs. Leona McGee, both of East Liverpool; a brother, Harry Milhoan of Cadiz; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 at the church by Fr. Joseph S. Beller, assistant pastor. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery at Wellsville.
Friends may call at the MacLean Funeral Home at Wellsville tonight.
