Officer Bert Congrove of the Wellsville police department, died at 11 o'clock last night (March 14, 1911) at his home on Center avenue from tuberculosis. The deceased had been ill nearly all winter. He is survived by his wife and step-daughter. He was well known and highly esteemed.

CONGROVE FUNERAL

Funeral services over the remains of the late Bert Congrove will be held Sunday from the family residence on Aten avenue. The services will be in charge of Columbiana aerie, F. O. E. The local police will act as pallbearers. Besides his wife, Mr. Congrove is survived by his parents and three brothers, Herbert, Clyde and J. M. Congrove, all of Wellsville. He was born in Jackson County, W. Va., and had resided in this city for 22 years.
